Following a sell out season at the Gaiety Dublin, the UK première of ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ is at Wyndham’s Theatre on Sunday 13 September at 4.00pm with previews from Friday 4 September. The season runs until Sunday 14 February 2010. This new play by Owen O’Neill and Dave Johns is based on the 1982 Stephen King novella ‘Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption’. The cast of 20 is led by Kevin Anderson & Reg E Cathey.
